Sponsor Lewis Cornish takes British Championship victory
16
year-old schoolboy supermoto star Lewis Cornish (as
sponsored by Charge) returned to his winning ways by
taking pole position, fastest laps and more importantly
race wins at the recent British Supermoto Championships.
The double British Junior Supermoto champion put his
title chase back on track in the ultra competitive Supermoto
Lites 250cc class. At the fast Lydden Hill circuit near
Dover, Cornish could only manage a runner up spot despite
dominating and winning the final race. This was followed
up by the overall win at Sunday’s Lydd International
Raceway meeting. During the damp and tricky qualifying
sessions The Norfolk youngster showed his older and
more experienced rivals how it should be done by setting
a blistering qualifying lap almost two seconds ahead
of the competition. However in the dry race conditions
Lewis was struggling to get to grips with his recently
tuned engine’s characteristics and failed to make the
most of his pole position. Despite not taking the ‘hole-shot’,
he pulled off a pair of amazing passes that saw the
crowd gasp. This saw Cornish place his TRM Honda back
in front to claim the top spot on the podium. This fantastic
performance puts Lewis in good stead for his next race
at the British Supermoto Grand Prix at Mallory Park
on May 30.

Inspiring
story of a top London DJ:
From incurable rheumatic disease to the London Marathon
Mark
Wilkinson completes the Bath Half Marathon in preparation
for the big one!
Mark
is a London based DJ who has peformed in over 65 countries,
produced with some of the world's greatest music makers,
and had chart topping success.
A
personal message from London DJ Mark Wilkinson:
"4
years ago I was diagnosed with an incurable Rheumatic
disease in my body. It left me finding it extremely
difficult to walk or stand and completely ruined my
life for over 18 months. Doctors told me I would always
have pain and would need to take prescribed medication
for the rest of my life.
Cutting
a long story short I have since made a full recovery,
and am on no medication whatsoever, so I am going to
undertake the challenge of running the London Marathon
for Charity this year.
There
are 2 reasons behind this:
1)
to inspire myself and others into knowing that anything
is possible
2)
to raise £1,000,000 for Charity
There
are hundreds of thousands of people connected to Music
and Nightlife across the world, it is my aim to reach
as many of you as possible and to show to the world
what we all know already, that there are positive and
wonderful people connected to us all Worldwide.
I
need 100,000 people to sponsor me £10 each to make the
figure. Please click or copy and paste into your browser:
Please
show your generous support to Mark in his quest to complete
the London Marathon which he is hoping to finish in
under 5 hours. Given that Mark is a true Rhino we are
super confident he'll reach his goal.

Wilkinson Profile:
Mark
is a London based DJ who has peformed in over 65 countries,
produced with some of the world's greatest music makers,
and had chart topping success.
After
a string of hot record releases, Mark felt a platform
to release his own tracks, and tracks he loved by others,
was in need. Keeping with the theme that had developed,
Kidology Records was conceived. It was during this time
that his most current and probably most popular guise
'Dab Hands' was born. Dab Hands has had success for
remix duties on Lou Reed's 'Satellite Of Love', which
made it into the Top 10 of the UK national charts; with
'Supergood' - a cross over hit on Virgin / Ten Records
in 2005, and 'DYOT', which was later released on Gusto
Records, was an 'essential tune' for Radio 1's Pete
Tong.
Mark
runs his own party named after his label 'Kidology',
which has held the fort at Ministry of Sound, AKA and
The End. But it's been 2007 that has firmly established
Kidology as one of London's strongest nights with monthly
parties at The Cross and Plan B.
Kidology's
ethos is about putting the 'party' feeling back into
club land. It's outrageous, flamboyant, and friendly,
and encompasses a special brand of 'glamorous silliness'.
Kidology parties have a mix of gorgeous and loyal fans,
saucy Kidettes, superb quality music, excellent production,
and a vibe like no other. Kidology has quickly become
the name on everyone's lips.
Now
recognised as one of London's most uniquely styled nights
out, Kidology raised the bar again in 2008 by saying
farewell to The Cross and Plan B, and saying huge hello
to Pacha London. And that's not all, 2008 saw Kidology
parties galore all over the UK as well as El Divino
Ibiza & International tours, and the launch of a CD
London After Dark.
2009
looks to be no different, with Kidology nights regularly
in London, Bristol, Leeds and Brighton and many more
International tours in the diary too, London's freshest
nightclub brand goes from strength to strength.

John Randall
John
Randall on the drums
John
Randall is a multi-award winning drummer and composer
signed to indie record label TenToTen Records. His recently
released debut album "Insomnia"
(see below) has received rave reviews, seeing it described
variously as "infectiously edgy….impressive" (The Guardian),
"bursting with musical ideas, rich, dextrous, vibrant
and original" (The Vortex) and "an extraordinary debut"
(Downtown Music Gallery, New York) and is rapidly building
him a reputation as one of the UK's most innovative
young musicians.
Far
from living a life confined just to music, John has
competed at national and world championship level sailing
and has windsurfed and sailed all over the world. His
dedication and focus in extreme sports has translated
directly to his study of music and these unique experiences
have doubtlessly helped to shape the distinctly original
sound of his music. It is music that is difficult to
categorise - as one reviewer said "they don't so much
move easily between as totally disregard as irrelevant
genres such as jazz/rock, hip hop and abstract electronic
music." (Chris Parker) This openness has led to John's
music finding fans from a huge range of different backgrounds,
with high profile admirers ranging from world-renowned
jazz bassist Dave Holland
to the legendary dance producers Underworld.
Since
their album's release John's band have been touring
throughout the UK to fascinated and enthusiastic audiences,
with their recent sell out show at the prestigious Pizza
Express Jazz Club in Soho chosen as "Pick of the Week"
in The Guardian. They continue to tour throughout 2009,

RHINO
RANDALL...
One of the things that has seriously impressed us about
John Randall is his attitude. He is without question
a true rhino who is essentially getting out there and
making it happen. Like everybody he has dreams, but
unlike so many others who make no real effort to turn
their dreams into reality, JR instead backs up his with
the necessary energy and desire in order to ensure that
his dreams come into full fruition.
